Jennifer Greene

Hi! I’m Jennifer Greene, the Editor for The Home Guidance. I’m so excited to be here and share my home knowledge with all of you. I’m a mom of two (a boy and a girl) who loves to write about home life and everything that comes with it.

I’ve been writing since I could hold a pen—or at least that’s what my mom says. My love affair with words began when I was just five years old, when my dad read me his favorite book over and over again until he could recite it from memory. It was The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, which is still one of my favorite children’s books today.

When I was in high school, I decided to become an English major because it seemed like such an interesting subject to study—I’d never met anyone who didn’t love reading or writing stories! But after college, when I got married and became a mom, things changed pretty quickly: suddenly there were diapers to change and dishes to wash instead of novels to read on rainy days at home. So instead of writing fiction like I’d always dreamed about doing someday, I started writing about real-life experiences.

At The Home Guidance, I’ll be sharing my home knowledge with all of you so that you can improve your homes and make them more safe and beautiful.
